country against sexual abuse and exploitation of young women and girls.
Outreach work is being done in urban and rural communities as well as at
the district level, educating young women about their sexuality and
their right to say “No”. Since 2001, more recently this department has
also been advocating for policy changes in the current law to protect
children against Commercial Sexual Exploitation and in essence raising
public awareness on this very pertinent issue.
